Nominations flood in to judges for East Dunbartonshire business awards

East Dunbartonshire Council is once again highlighting the inspirational work taking place in businesses and enterprises across the area.

Nominations were submitted throughout April - resulting in more than 30 applications across the dozen categories.

The judging process is now underway and a shortlist will be announced soon.

Councillor Alan Moir, convener of development and regeneration, said: “I am delighted at the great response to the 2015 East Dunbartonshire Business Awards.

“I look forward to hearing about all the fantastic work taking place in the local business sector.

“The final on 29 May at The Eagle Lodge promises to be a very special occasion. Not only will we announce the winners, we will also highlight the nominees - as well as raising funds for charities and good causes in East Dunbartonshire.”
