Official Clydesdale school truancy rates are published
ARE the pupils of Lesmahagow High School really TEN times more likely to play truant than those at Biggar High School and far more than those at Lanark Grammar and Carluke High?
Well, they are if you take the official figures published for parents by the education authority, South Lanarkshire Council, at face value.
However, as a wise old politician once said, there are lies, d..n lies... and statistics!
