On your bike for free family day out

The group are running two rides — 8.5 miles and 12 miles — starting from SW Community Cycles at Pollokshaws West train station at 10.30am.

Cyclists are invited to bring a packed lunch for Sunday’s outing to the Riverside Museum, and the same goes for a visit to Kelvingrove Museum, on July 13.

Those without a bike are encouraged to hire one at the station — and those with their own cycles can take advantage of a free bike check.

Both routes will use cycle tracks and quiet back roads throughout.
