Online help and advice for stroke patients

Stroke patients can now access a new self-help resource which has been launched by NHS Lanarkshire.

The new website - SelfHelp4Stroke,org - is the first fully comprehensive, online, free self-help training material for anyone who has suffered a stroke.

The project was led by Campbell Chalmers, an NHS Lanarkshire nursing consultant specialising in stroke care. He also secured Scottish Government funding for the website with support from Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland.
