Questionnaire on Cumbernauld’s community park to be sent out

THOUSANDS OF local households are all set to be targeted in an ambitious bid to find out what locals want from a key green space.

Friends of Cumbernauld Community Park have finalised the wording of a key questionnaire which is at the heart of a giant consultation exercise.

Last year we revealed that the group had received a cash windfall from the Big Lottery Fund to the tune of £4980, in one of the most generous awards of its kind received by a local group.

Members are now trying to ascertain what amenities should be installed in this ‘green lung’ which lies north of the M80.

To this end, they have been working with a consultancy firm who have helped them draw up the questionnaire.
