Opposition continues to Law bus axe

THE controversial decision to axe the hourly number 10 bus run from Law to Wishaw continues to be met with strong opposition from Law villagers.

Law Community Trust chairman Jim Wright revealed that the fight would go on to save the service, almost three months after it was abolished by Stuarts Coaches.

He is furious at Stuarts, transport authority SPT and South Lanarkshire Council for their roles in a saga afflicting a village where 30 per cent of households have no car.
