Outback outrage claim increases fears for New Lanark
CAMPAIGNERS fighting the Hyndford Quarry extension into New Lanark claim to have uncovered evidence from thousands of miles away to bolster their case.
They are alleging that quarry operator Cemex has a previous record of abusing a historically important site in Australia and so should not be trusted to respect the UNESCO World Heritage status of the village.
