Old editions of the Times & Speaker have a habit of popping up in the strangest of places - as a collector in Australia discovered.

Brisbane resident Belinda Long nipped into an antique shop while on holiday in Melbourne and bought a lot of newspapers to take home.

After discovering editions from 1883, 84 and 85 (the Times was first printed in 1883), Belinda took to the internet in a bid to find out more about the paper and the Scottish town she had been reading about, and discovered our Facebook page.
