Paint yourself a rainbow at Rouken Glen

The colours are flying at Rouken Glen Park this Sunday (May 31) for Holi, or the Spring Colours Festival.

The Hindu festival usually takes place in March, but was held off this year for better weather.

Organised by the Glasgow Hindu Society, East Refrewshire Hindu Society, East Renfrewshire Council and other partners, entertainment and food kicks off at noon, with the big colour fight planned for 2.30pm — all are welcome to join in, and old clothes are advised.

St Ninian’s High are also in on the action, fundraising for the Betty Cunningham Trust — which helps children in Malawi — on the day.
