Party suited them down to a tea

PUPILS at Woodlands Primary School capped off their Easter celebrations in style by raising cash for charity.

The children gathered for a Fair Trade tea party and bonnet parade last week and presented Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Eleanor Rattray with a cheque for £200.

Eleanor said: “It was a very enjoyable morning at the school and everyone was very nice.

“I’m extremely grateful for this cheque as it costs Marie Curie £20 to provide one hour’s nursing care, so this cheque equates to 10 hours of care.”
