Pensioner Anne Steele makes a garden of Braidwood street
When a Braidwood pensioner felt her street needed brightened up, she just went ahead and did it and, in the process, created a friendship garden.
For the last few years Mrs Anne Steele, now 80, has been planting out the hedgerow right along Loch Avenue, tending the plants and weeding and trimming.
