Fairy doors bring magic to Eaglesham walks

Locals have been painting fairy doors on rocks and hiding them around the Orry for the kids to find.

Teacher Adam Black painted around 20, before children in the village got involved and started creating their own.

He said: “It started it off as something for the local children to do during their designated outside time during lockdown.

“I know my boys have always found the Orry a magical place and we always look for fairies, so the addition of fairy doors was an easy thing for them and the other children of the village to buy into.”
