Fraser is a talented fellow

The RSA, a worldwide network which finds creative solutions to social challenges, has awarded Fellowship status to

20-year-old Fraser Morrison, the artistic director of Creative Flame.

The company works with Police Scotland and local authorities, visiting schools to deliver interactive workshops on issues such as drugs, internet safety and alcohol.

Fraser said: “I am amazingly proud to be awarded the RSA fellowship at such an early stage in my career and also a little shocked.

“It’s a great honour and quite humbling to be recognised on a national and international level for the work I’ve been doing and I’m pleased to be part of such an important creative network.

“I believe creativity has real power to change people’s lives and the positive feedback from the workshops show our innovative methods of using drama to get important messages across to pupils are working.”

Fraser is a former deputy head boy of the independent Beaconhurst School near Stirling, where he excelled in the expressive arts and performed lead roles in school theatre productions.

Attending the school also enabled him to develop business skills through their links to Young Enterprise Scotland.

Fraser is still involved with the school as president of its alumni association. He is also a board member of the Forth Valley branch of YES.
