Jump on your bike for charity

Firefighters will be participating and supporting the organised 999 charity cycle which passes through Kilsyth on Saturday, August 24, and they want you to join in.

Cyclists will leave from The Stables in Kirkintilloch pass along the canal path to The Falkirk Wheel which is the half-way point, turn and head back to finish at the Marina in Kirkintilloch to join in the exciting programme of the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival.

The cycle is approximately 33 miles and you will raise money for two charities, MacMillan Cancer Support and Scotland’s Family Support Trust.

The entry fee is £10 and you have to raise a minimum of £40.00.
