Kirkintilloch Male Voice Choir celebrate centenary in style across the globe
Viewers from North America to Australia throughout the Middle East and Europe tuned in to see and hear the renowned East Dunbartonshire choir mark a century of song.
Sally McLennan, the choir’s musical director, said: “ We realised months ago that because of Covid we would not be able to have a ‘ live’ annual concert.

“We’ve been absolutely delighted with the results. It was – as one of the men said – virtually brilliant.”
The half hour concert is nearing 3,000 views on YouTube and has raised more than £3,000 for Glasgow Childrens Hospital Charity.
A spokesman for the charity said: “KMVC have supported the children for years. We wish them a happy 100th and thank them for all they do.”
