Lenzie after-school club is back on the ball

Pupils from Millersneuk, Lenzie Meadow, Holy Family and Lairdsland primary schools met up recently.

Ian Stevenson at the club said: “Thanks to continued support from Mr Imrie and Mr Paterson at Lenzie Academy and Mrs Allen at Lenzie Meadow.

"The group has been able to use primarily the Astro at the Academy, and then the Astro at Lenzie Meadow as it has floodlights, where the group have been doing small sided fun football games without a cone in sight.

"It is hoped at the turn of the year, the pool and table tennis competitions will resume, indoors.
