Plans for new takeaway in Nitshill rejected

Applicant Steven Simpson wanted to create a hot food takeaway at 409 Nitshill Road, however, Glasgow City Council planning officials turned the plans down.

They argued that the development would mean that more than 27 per cent of units in the block would be used as takeaways and that the proposed flue would have a detrimental impact on residents living in the nearby tower block.
