Take a walk on the wild side at The Avenue shopping centre

The Avenue in Newton Mearns will be taken over by dinosaurs this summer from Tuesday, July 16, until Friday, August 16, as the shopping centre becomes home to seven dinosaurs.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “We will have something for everyone, especially those who love all things dinosaurs this summer. From an Allosaurus to Velocirpators, we recently asked you (the public) to name our dinosaurs before they arrive at

The Avenue on Tuesday. Come along, meet our dinosaurs and find out their names as we launch Dino Days.

“Bring the kids for a family Dinosaur Trail – pick up an entry form in centre, visit each of our dinosaurs and search for which stores they have left their Dino Eggs in for the chance to win some amazing prizes this summer – including £100 shopping centre vouchers.”

“Don’t forget to visit our newest store The Works to post your entry for the chance to win and pick up your certificate for taking part.”

In addition, Waterstones and The Works will be providing extra activity with Dino Tale storytelling and craft events for children in the mall on selected dates.
