The wonderful thing about Tiggers is Tiggers are wonderful things, and Winnie the Pooh’s pal has certainly added some wonder with his antics in recent weeks.

He’s been getting up to all sorts, from playing golf and 10-pin bowling, to creating PPE masks on his sewing machine, and he’s even been passing on special birthday and anniversary messages to friends and neighbours.

Tigger has been appearing in the garden and window of the home of Clarkston couple Ann and Derek Morris since the start of lockdown, and he has helped put a smile of the faces of people who pass each day.

Indeed, Tigger and his activities have become quite an attraction, with many people now making a point of passing the house each day, just to see what he’s up to.

Jill McFadden, who contacted the Extra with this feelgood story, said: “Ann and Derek have gone above and beyond to cheer up people passing by their house for their daily walks during lockdown.

“I think this deserves a bit of recognition during these difficult and uncertain times. They have really kept a smile on people’s faces.”
