Water restored to Shawlands homes after burst pipe is repaired

A number of homes in the Shawlands area of Glasgow were left without water earlier today (Thursday, May 28).

However, supplies were restored after Scottish Water completed the repairs to the burst pipe in Cherrybank Road by just before 2pm.

The water should gradually return to normal now the repair has been completed.

There may be some discoloured water initially, but this should clear.
