Westfield winners in contest for best gardens in North Lanarkshire
The lovingly cultivated handiwork of gardeners at a retirement complex in Cumbernauld has landed residents with a special award handed out to communal properties by North Lanarkshire Council.
Westfield Retirement Complex was handed the laurels in the Communal category of the NL in Bloom competition.
Tracy Lennon, Tenant Participation Manager, said: “Each year the judging becomes more difficult, and this year was no different.
" There were so many worthy winners, and the judging team was blown away by the quality of gardens on show. It’s been a pleasure being part of the NL in Bloom competition and I want to thank everyone who was involved.”
