AN AWARD-winning, southside pharmacist has launched a new book, Call the Pharmacist.

Elizabeth Roddick runs the New Life Pharmacy in Netherlee and is the recipient of the Schering Award for her pioneering work with GPs, which she won in 1993, and is currently a committee member of the Community Health Care Partnership in East Renfrewshire.

Elizabeth has also won an NHS award, in 2005, for outstanding service to NHS patients in Glasgow.
