Plan to build war memorial in Carluke for Lanarkshire Yeomanry gathers pace
THE plan to build a war memorial for the men of the Lanarkshire Yeomanry in Carluke is continuing to gather pace.
Yeomanry Group members met Clydesdale West councillor Eileen Logan and council officials to discuss the possibility of a monument being erected in Market Square.
Campbell Thomson, from the Lanarkshire Yeomanry Group, was enthusiastic about the meeting.
