Plans start for Lanark’s festive celebrations
IT might be just the start of October but Lanark’s shops and businesses are already thinking hard about how best to persuade people to do their Christmas shopping here and not in Glasgow or one of the large towns.
Planning for the potentially lucrative time of year will be top of the agenda when the Lanark Business Group next meets, at The Clydesdale Inn on Monday, October 7, at 5.30pm.
As has become the custom, group members will spend the first half hour ‘networking’ – establishing business contacts with each other – before moving on to that night’s agenda.
