Police charge driver after roundabout crash

A WOMAN who crashed into a roundabout has been charged with drink-driving.

The 36-year-old was involved in the incident at Torrance roundabout on Kirkintilloch Road at around 12.30am on Saturday, May 26.

Firefighters from Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs were called to the scene, but the woman was already out of the car.

She also faces other road traffic charges.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a 30-year-old man was charged with drink-driving and various other road traffic offences in Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch, at around 3am on Saturday, May 26.
