Police confirm identity of man found dead in Milngavie park

Officers had been called to the area following the discovery at around 11.30am on Thursday, 4 June, 2020.

The death is still being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.

Detective Inspector Steven Watson, from Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Our thoughts are with Duncan’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“We are appealing for anyone with information about his movements between Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 June to please come forward and assist our investigation.

“Duncan is described as being around 5ft 9 with short dark hair, and he was wearing a light-blue puffer jacket and well-worn dark-blue jeans.

“Anyone with information should call Police on 101, quoting incident 1160 of 4 June. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
