Police issue fresh appeal for missing teenager Scott

The family of missing teenager Scott Diver are becoming increasingly worries - three weeks after he was last seen in Dalmuir Park.

Police today have issued a fresh appeal for information on the 16-year-old Clydebank lad who left his home in Second Avenue around 2.45pm on Saturday September 17.

Despite a number of reported sightings and extensive police enquiries, officers are yet to establish Scott’s whereabouts.

He is described as about 5ft 7 inches tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white t-shirt and navy blue Adidas training shoes with grey stripes.

Inspector John Mullen from Clydebank Police Office said: “It has now been three weeks since Scott was reported missing and his family are extremely worried about him.

“I would continue to urge anyone who recognises Scott, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, to contact officers as soon as possible.

“We know that Scott was captured on CCTV walking through Dalmuir Park, in the direction of the park entrance at Mountblow Road, around 1453 hours on the day he went missing. I would ask anyone who may have seen him that day to come forward as you may have information that could assist with our enquiry.
