Police release image in connection with Shawlands pub attack

Police were alerted to an attack on a 28-year-old man in Linen, 1110 Pollokshaws Road, at around 1am on Friday, March 10.

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Detective Constable Peter McFarlane said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who recognises the man in the image to contact us as their information could assist with our investigation.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact CID Officers at Cathcart Police Office on 101 and quote incident number 0145 of Friday, March 10, 2017.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and provide your information anonymously.”
