No major internal structures will be altered either. Proposals for inside the building include creating a new bar, enlarging the kitchen area on the ground floor and creating new customer toilets on the first floor.
The proposals also likely to include the restoration of many original features like the columns that had previously been boxed in.

The historic premises first opened in 1922 as the Waverley Cinema, with a seating capacity of 1320.
It became the ABC Cinema in 1964, before closing nine years later.
The building was then used as a bingo hall and then a snooker club, and most recently operated as The Waverley Tearoom and Tucks Nightclub until 2017.
