A full meeting of councillors will take place on Thursday, June 18.

Depute Chief Executive, Education, People & Business, Ann Davie, said yesterday (Wednesday): There has been full engagement with Elected Members throughout the pandemic and a Council meeting is scheduled for 3pm on 18 June.

“This will be conducted remotely and officers are finalising arrangements for this to be streamed.

“A remote Planning Board meeting has also been scheduled for 2pm on 23 June and a meeting of the HSCP (Health and Social Care Partnership) on 25 June.”

A number of local people got in touch with the Herald earlier this week concerned that there was still no sign of meetings of councillors starting back.

All Council services moved to emergency service delivery on March 18, and a gradual return of services has begun.
