Putting shopping at the top of my list

I’ve had a touch of the bah humbugs this year. Normally the queen of the shopping list, I haven’t had the notion for festive frivolities - until the past week when all the lights started going up in the town centre.

Since then I have ordered my real Christmas tree - I just cannot resist the smell of a proper fir in the house - and started my shopping.

My first foray has been on the web, something I try very hard to limit as I would far rather support my local shops.

This Saturday, however, I intend to hit the High Street and track down gifts and toys for every age group.

I must remember to drop a few hints for Santa for myself!
