Rail disruption after person is struck by train
Train services between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida have been cancelled after a person was hit by a train today.
A replacement bus service between Glasgow Central and Newton, King’s Park and Mount Florida has been put in place.
Earlier this afternoon, ScotRail tweeted: “Sadly due to a person being hit by a train, services between @NetworkRailGLC & #MountFlorida are disrupted.”
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
The cancellation of the service is set to cause travel problems for people going to the Coldplay gig at Hampden tonight.
