Rap for Law store in teen drink sale sting

A STUDENT who stepped in to serve in a family licensed grocers in an emergency sold wine to a 16-year-old boy sent into the shop in Law by the authorities to make a test purchase.

The student was called in to help when his father collapsed in the shop and was taken by ambulance to hospital.

But that led to the police asking Clydesdale’s Licensing Board to review the drinks licence for the Select Grocers in Station Road.
