Readers’ views on train travel

AN independent survey has revealed that 86 per cent of passengers are happy with ScotRail services.

However, those travelling on urban journeys were much more satisfied (91 per cent) than those travelling on ScotRail rural services, which polled just 74 per cent and those on Strathclyde routes, which scored 85 per cent.

The results of the survey surprised Gazette readers, who used our Facebook site to express their views on local rail services.
