During this phase, work will centre on resufacing of footpaths. During phases two and three, both the north and south bound lanes of the road resurfaced.

Phase two is planned to take place from Wednesday-Sunday, July 8-12. Phase three will run from Monday-Friday, July 13-17.

Fenwick Road will remain open throughout the work.

However, drivers are warned the side road junctions of Brooklea Drive and Merryvale Place will be closed during phases two and three.

A suitable diversion route will be in place for the Merryvale Place closure.

As there is no alternative route for the Brooklea Drive closure, the contractor has been instructed to maintain access to local residents wishing to exit or enter as required.

These road works are being carried out during the school summer holidays when traffic is normally quieter.
