Runners take on 50k trek
Around 50 runners ran a gruelling 50K ultramarathon challenge at Whitelee Windfarm recently.
The race route started at the windfarm visitor centre, over the hills and around the perimeter of Whitelee, then through East Ayrshire and on to Ardochrig in South Lanarkshire, before returning to the start. The event was organised by Breaking Strain events.
