Sackloads of fun at Braehead Village Day

FUN and laughter were the order of the day at Braehead Village Day on Saturday.

Great hilarity was provided by a four person sack race. And a Foot of the Brae race saw teams of four or five people attach themselves to big feet made of hardboard before having to negotiate their way through a zig-zagging course while bursting balloons.

“The Foot of the Brae race was one of the highlights of the day,” said Braehead village committee acting chairman John Rattray. “It was extremely entertaining.”
