Saltire flies the flag for great service

Bellshill-based Saltire Facilities Management has secured three nominations at the Heating and Ventilation Industry Awards.

Having won 2015 Domestic Heating Contractor of The Year, Saltire defends its title being nominated once again in that category.

In addition it is up for Collaboration of The Year for its work in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and Daniel McLaughlin is shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year.

Chief executive officer Jill Keohane said: “It is always rewarding to be recognised by your peers for the great service which we work hard to deliver.

“Being selected as finalists in the three categories is a testament to the quality of all our employees who, from the initial phone call to the sign-off of the completed job, are committed to providing excellence in quality and service.

“I am particularly proud of Daniel McLaughlin, like all our engineers he works hard to deliver the highest level of service and is a deserving candidate.

“Our work in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council being shortlisted is testament to great service that Saltire delivers to their residents.”

Saltire serves over 80,000 homes, and Natalie Milne, director of operations delivery, says they haven’t stood still in order to retain the title of Domestic Heating Contractor of The Year.

She said: “At Saltire we put as much effort in improving our technology and processes as we do in training our engineers.

“Our state of the art systems allows us to deliver efficiencies to service both the customer and the environment. Both of which are critical in developing a long term sustainable company.”

The ceremony takes place in London later this year.
