Head teacher Paul McLaughlin said: “Being shortlisted for the Secondary School of the Year for the third time in five years is an outstanding achievement.

“This reflects the fantastic work that goes on in our school every day. It is indeed a credit to all staff, pupils and the wider community.”

The winners will be announced at a gala luncheon and awards ceremony on Friday, July 4, at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.
