Search on for Gazette’s young heroes

Far too often we’re told that children only hit the headlines in bad news stories.

We want to ensure they are given the merit they deserve – but we need YOUR help to do that.

We want readers to nominate children they think deserve recognition; there are two age groups – five to 11 year olds and 12 to 18 year olds.

Simply tell us, in no more than 50 words, why your chosen child deserves special credit. We need the child’s name, age, address and school (seek parents’ permission before submitting them).

Then send your entry to Young Heroes, the Gazette, 3 High Street, Carluke, ML8 4AL, or 5 Wellgate, Lanark, ML11 9DS.

The last date for entries is Friday, May 6.

Each winner will receive a season pass for M&Ds – and be saluted in the Gazette!
