Shannon is crowned Carnwath Gala Queen
YOUNG Shannon Howat had a day to remember on Saturday as she was crowned this year’s Carnwath Gala Queen.
This year’s Crowning Lady Kate Williamson carried out her special duty as a large crowd looked on.
Earlier in the morning there was the usual fun and frolics at this year’s procession with everyone including Batman, the Mr Men and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz enjoying the day.
