Sign up for Spring Clean

Almost 2,000 people from South Lanarkshire have signed up to tackle the nation’s litter problem – will you join them?

One Clydesdale body taking part is Carmichael Visitor Centre, Farm Shop & Tearoom which is calling for the people of Carmichael to don yellow tabards and help clean the local area of litter on Sunday April 29 at 10am.

Tired of the crisp bags, juice bottles and other litter spoiling the countryside, Carmichael Visitor Centre decided to organise a clean up event.

For more, on the Carmichael clean up, and the national launch by Richard Lochhead, see this week’s Carluke and Lanark Gazette.
