St Mary’s Church, Lanark, re-opens on Sunday
AFTER over a year closed for a huge six figure renovation, Lanark’s St Mary’s Church opens its doors to parishioners again on Sunday.
A happy – and doubtless relieved – Father Joseph Brannigan has announced the completion of enough of the work to allow worship within its 100-year-old walls again, warmly thanking the adjoining Sisters of St Catherine’s for accommodating his flock during their long exile.
