Standing up to cancer
STAFF at Greggs Silverburn are standing up to cancer — raising £500 for Cancer Research UK through recent fundraising events.
Greggs representative Tracy Stewart explained: “One of our colleagues is going through treatment just now. It really brings it home how many people are affected, and how many people are now able to survive cancer, which is wonderful news.”
Rowan Main, local fundraising manager for Cancer Research, added: “Everyone in the new Greggs shop at Silverburn has been tremendous, and we’re thrilled that they Stand Up To Cancer.”
