Stephen Hunter kick starts X Factor
THE new series of the X Factor has kicked off — and it was a 41-year-old from Lesmahagow who stole the show.
Bubbly Stephen Hunter kicked off the series, winning through to the Bootcamp stage with his version of Disco Inferno by the Trammps.
House husband Stephen said on the show that he entered the X Factor because performing was something that he had wanted to do since he was a child.

Hide AdHe said: "Being a house husband is all about getting up tending to the dogs and the chickens but there's something missing.
"My fire is rising and I'm going to give it everything."
But it's not just on the show that Stephen has become a big hit. On internet site Youtube a video of his audition has had over 91,000 hits.
