Steve Rolfe set for world record attempt

KAIMEND man Stevie Rolfe is going for a unique world record – and it’s all in the name of charity.

Stevie (46) is putting his work life into practice and is attempting to set a world record for being the first man to pregnancy-scan 1000 cattle in just 11 hours.

On a regular day Stevie usually scans between 150 and 200 cattle but will have to scan over 90 cows an hour if he is to achieve his goal.

He said: “I wanted to raise money and do something that I’m good at, that’s a little bit different.

“It’s certainly not going to be easy and I’ll be wearing a full waterproof suit so it will be very warm.

“I’ve written to the Guinness Book of World Records to see if I could be included and I’m waiting to hear back from them.”

The main reason for Stevie’s challenge is to raise money for both The Little Haven, based in Forth, and for Cancer Research UK.
