Stones allegedly thrown at fire engine

TWO TEENAGERS have been reported to the Children’s Panel for allegedly throwing stones at a fire engine in Cumbernauld.

The 14 and 15 year old boys were reported for offences under the Emergency Workers Act.

Police say firefighters received a call from a young male advising that there was a fire on Ash Road, Abronhill, at around 6.30pm on Thursday, August 23.

When firefighters responded to the call, stones where allegedly thrown at the fire engine.
