Store bargains on town support

A MORE detailed planning application has been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council by a retailer who hopes to open up shop in the town.

The plans by TJ Morris who own Home Bargains include building a store and car park with 56 spaces at a site adjacent to Lidl on Garrell Road in the town.

The application was previously submitted last year and later withdrawn before it was resubmitted with a detailed report.
