Strathcarron boosted by Burns and Old Parish
The congregation of Kilsyth Burns & Old Parish Church held a Coffee Morning in the Church Hall on 13th September, 2014.
This was a fundraising event in aid of Strathcarron Hospice. The coffee morning was very well supported by the congregation itself and the wider community. There was a very happy atmosphere throughout with people being very generous with their time and donations of home baking and money. The sum of £1300.00 was raised to aid the services the hospice provides locally. Also, earlier this year two members of Kilsyth Burns & Old took part in Strathcarron Ladies Midnight Tiara Walk, raising £1170.00.
