The department was approached by Schaw Court just a few weeks before the students finished for the summer and they were eager to get the work done as soon as possible.
Student Adam Morrison said: “It’s nice to be involved in a community project like this, it’s a good feeling to help out where we can.”

Bob Wotherspoon from the Gardening Club at Schaw Court said: “Thanks to these boys for being able to turn around a request so quickly. The garden is our pride and joy and all of us at the gardening club enjoy making it a lovely place for residents and neighbours to relax in. Fingers crossed we get more of the good weather so we can enjoy it more this summer.”
Brightly coloured bird boxes were also donated from the College’s learner development students who had made them as part of a garden project.
